What is a Rub?

Originating in the United States, rub is composed of Guérande salt for seasoning, sugar for caramelization, and onion and garlic powder for a typical barbecue flavor. Anthony Le Brière contributed to the creation of our rubs, using original spices such as Madagascar white pepper, Ceylon cinnamon and PDO Espelette pepper.

Instructions for use

Apply rub generously to your ingredients and cook slowly at between 90° and 150°C for perfect caramelization. Rubs are also excellent for adding to your dishes a la plancha, in the oven or in the pan, enhancing meat, fish, shellfish and vegetable dishes in the blink of an eye.
