INTEGRITE Our CSR approach
Environmental and societal issues are at the heart of the news (global warming, rising energy and raw material costs...). At Les Jardins de Gaïa, we understood right from the start that these issues would become increasingly pressing if we didn't act quickly. These values have been part of our DNA since the very beginning, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), which has been in the media for only a few years, was already part of our internal and external commitments.
It's anchored in all our daily actions, supported by enterprising management and a team of 85 committed employees, which is how we were awarded the Bioentreprise Durable® label in 2018.
How does this translate into everyday life, in France in our workshops and in the tea countries, with our partners? To answer this, we have published our 2018/2020 CSR Report listing all the actions we have taken around 6 pillars: governance, human resources, quality, fair practices, the environment and local roots. To give you an overview, here are the key points.
"Entrepreneurial respect for people and the earth, for a fairer life and a peaceful future" Les Jardins de Gaïa Board of Directors
Against a backdrop of democratization in the organic sector, we are defending an organic approach that makes sense, that remains coherent and demanding, and that meets the real demands of consumers, as citizens increasingly involved in a common future.
