The Tea Studio Project

For over 30 years, Les Jardins de Gaïa has been forging strong, demanding partnerships—from region to region—with those who produce ethical and responsible tea around the world. Alongside our Canadian (Camellia Sinensis), Indian (Tea’n’Teas), and Czech (Oxalis) partners, we are joining forces with Tea Studio, a small artisanal micro-factory nestled in the Nilgiri hills—an exceptional region in southern India and a new addition to our tea house. In the heart of the plantations, run by an all-female team and powered by solar energy, the Tea Studio is boldly and passionately reinventing the production of all types of tea in this region of India.
