The purity of Yunnan
Tea preparation tips
A compressed tea to discover
Genuine young organically grown pu'er from a protected 1,500-year-old wild tea forest at altitudes of between 1,500 and 1,800 m in China's Yunnan province. This variety of Camellia sinensis (Assamica), remarkable for the extreme concentration of its large leaves, produces high quality teas renowned for their benefits!
At Jardins de Gaïa, our teas from Vietnam, Laos and Yunnan (China) come from these wild and original tea bushes. Promoting these ancient tea bushes avoids deforestation in this part of the world.
Produced according to ancestral know-how, Pureté du Yunnan is a young pu'er made from green tea compressed in the shape of a bird's nest. This tea is prized by the Chinese for its fat-reducing and antioxidant properties. Its jade-green infusion releases a mild flavor with a fresh, delicate fragrance...

Ancient and wild tea bushes
We offer teas from Vietnam, Laos and Yunnan that come from ancient, wild tea bushes, rich in active ingredients and antioxidants. This variety still grows in the dense tropical forests of the Golden Triangle mountains, and its promotion prevents deforestation in this region, and enables local minorities to survive.
Plain tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Tea and food pairings
This raw puer goes well with slightly bitter vegetables such as asparagus, spinach or artichokes. It can also be paired with dried fruit desserts such as peanuts or apricots, which can also be eaten as is, as is often done in China, at the end of a traditional tasting.
