Yixing range from China
Slightly porous, these unglazed earthenware teapots from China retain the memory of the teas they brew through impregnation. A truly intimate relationship is created between the infused tea, the teapot and its owner. A "marriage of passion" sought after by many lovers of tea and beautiful objects..

Our earthenware teapots from China
The fruit of patient collaboration with Mr. Xu's* factory in Yixing (Jiangsu province, China) and Xuemei Qian, the renowned potter who designed our models, our range of authentic Yixing teapots reflects the great local expertise in the manufacture of these superb brewing instruments. This know-how has been developed over almost five hundred years, and certain manufacturing techniques are unique in the world of ceramics (using a spatula instead of a wheel).
Each of these little marvels, designed primarily for the preparation of wu long teas, dark teas such as pu'er and great black teas, has been meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail (fit, ergonomics, flow quality...). They live up to our high standards and, above all, give us the pleasure of using them... as we had hoped
*Mr. Xu is also a member of the board of the Yixing ceramists' union and works for the city's ceramics museum, to which he contributes his expertise.
