Yixing "Xishi" handmade Chinese teapot - red (red clay - hongni) - 17 cl approx. (170 ml). Delivered in a luxurious fabric pouch inside a padded box with clasp.
Made entirely by hand from "hongni - 红泥" red clay, this teapot with its harmonious, balanced curves owes its elegance to its classic "Xishi - 西施" shape inspired by one of the four legendary Chinese beauties who lived at the end of the Spring and Autumn period (771 to 481/453 BC).
It has the ability to rise rapidly in temperature, which is ideal for teas that need to infuse at high temperatures (wu long, dark teas such as pu'er, black teas).
