Cinnamon, one of the world's oldest spices, comes from the inner bark of the cinnamon tree, peeled off the shrub in the rainy season and dried. The bark then rolls up to form sticks. Cinnamon is an essential ingredient in both sweet and savoury dishes. Even tastier, our Demeter powdered cinnamon comes from biodynamic agriculture and originates from Sri Lanka.
