Recipe for tandoori chicken with rub spices
A classic of Indian and Pakistani cuisine, Tandoori chicken is traditionally cooked in a stone wood-fired oven. In this revisitation with our Crispy Poultry barbecue spice blend, the flavor markers are all there, with coriander, turmeric, garlic, cumin and chili. We've added a touch of sugar, salt, sweet orange and thyme for a recipe that's intensely aromatic and incomparably moist! Combined with the naturally smoky taste of wood fire, this complete meal could quickly become one of your signature dishes!

Tandoori chicken, yoghurt sauce & basmati rice, the recipe that could become your signature dish
Ingredients for 4 servings :
- 4 chicken fillets
- 200 g basmati rice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 lemon juices
- 1 plain yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon Crispy poultry barbecue spice
Ingredients for the yoghurt sauce :
- 1 bunch finely chopped chives
- 2 plain yoghurts
- 1 lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
To make this recipe:
- Prepare the marinade by mixing the olive oil, 2 lemon juices, plain yoghurt and Crispy poultry barbecue rubs.
- Brush the chicken fillets on both sides and marinate in a cool place for 1 hour.
- Cook the rice for about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the 2 plain yogurts, lemon juice and finely chopped chives in a bowl, season with salt and pepper to taste and chill.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
- Arrange the rice in the center of the plate, place the fillet on top and serve the sauce on the side.
Tip: to prevent your chicken fillets from drying out, cover them tightly immediately after cooking. The hot steam will make them wonderfully moist!
