White Monkey
Tea preparation tips
A honey-sweet white tea with herbal flavours
Legend has it that monkeys pluck these tender buds from inaccessible branches. Fluffy, with a silvery sheen, the young shoots of this tea release a bright, clear infusion akin to green tea. Round and balanced, dominated by herbal flavors, it leaves discreet notes of rosemary and cooked fruit on the palate. As smooth as honey, with no acidity, this tea is a delight.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.
Fair trade
A WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) certified member, Les Jardins de Gaïa has been committed to fair trade since its creation: from the tea leaf to the cup, all our practices meet fair trade requirements. To find out more: www.wfto.com.
Plain tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Tea and food pairings
This delicate white tea can be paired with dried fruits such as almonds or cashews. It can also be served with slices of pear or white peach, which will complement its discreet flavors. In a savory version, it can also be paired with a light-tasting dish such as early peas or zucchini, or plain tofu.

bon rapport qualité-prix, feuilles parfumées, effritées cependant dans une partie du paquet, c'est dommage, mais il y a de belles pointes blanches
