The Basque spice with subtle, fruity aromas
Piment d'Espelette has been grown in the heart of the Basque country for four centuries. A Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) since 2000, it can only be grown in 10 communes around Espelette. The one we're offering, obviously organic, is fruity on the nose, with flavors of bell pepper and ripe tomato and typical aromas of toast and hay, bringing a delicious sensation of warmth on the palate, a progressive spiciness with elegant intensity.
A treat for the taste buds, Espelette chilli pepper will boldly replace pepper in your savoury and sweet dishes alike!
Product benefit: built-in sprinkler, so you can dose as you wish!
Producer's advantage: from small, dynamic and demanding Basque producers, awarded 5 medals!
