The matcha whisk rest is called kusenaoshi in Japanese. This accessory serves as a display stand for the matcha whisk (chasen), allowing it to retain its shape.
This black porcelain whisk rest is 7.5 cm high.
Please note that this whisk rest is not suitable for the dark-brown chasen sold on our site.
How to use:
After use, rinse the matcha whisk (chasen) with clean water, and place it on the whisk rest (kusenaoshi) until next use to prevent the whisk from warping.
