Clove is the flower bud of the clove tree Syzygium aromaticum, picked before flowering and then dried in the sun. Both refreshing and powerful, it can be used on its own or in combination with the many other spices with which it blends perfectly. Its powerful aroma warms stews, meats, gingerbread or infusions...

Our Demeter cloves, grown biodynamically, come from the Sahyadri association in the mountains of Kerala in southern India, and from the SOFA gardens in Sri Lanka, where our partner-producers grow both spices and tea.
