Zone 51: teas to support contemporary music that creates artistic and social links

The "Summer Vibration" and "Rock your brain" teas support the "Zone 51" association and the links it forges through contemporary music.

Zone51 is a Sélestadian association recognized as being in the public interest, with the aim of developing a rich and varied cultural offering in Central Alsace.

For over 25 years, the association has built up a solid reputation through the organization of numerous concerts and festivals (Summer Vibration Festival, Rock Your Brain Fest, etc.) with a constant focus on cultural democratization.

The association also defends an in-depth cultural project designed to forge social and artistic links through a wide range of cultural initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at a wide range of audiences, including young people (children and teenagers), the "general" public, those most remote from culture, and amateur and professional artists whom the association supports in their projects, from rehearsals to live performances.

Cultural initiatives to stimulate creativity in schools

Zone51 develops a wide range of cultural awareness initiatives from kindergarten to high school.

The association's members aim to arouse students' curiosity, stimulate their creativity and help them discover the tremendous diversity of today's music, whether it be amplified music, chanson, jazz, traditional, electronic or improvised.

Exceptional" encounters with artists or works of art are often organized with the aim of educating, cultivating and opening up the field of possibilities within schools.

Rehearsal and artistic support to foster creativity

Convinced that time for creation and stage preparation (residencies, spinning sessions, etc.), as well as live experience in front of an audience, are two essential links in the chain of artistic emergence and regional dynamics, Zone51 supports rehearsal and creation in several ways.

Rehearsal studios are made available to local bands and musicians, both amateur and professional. Members of the association support them in managing and developing their artistic projects.

This support also extends to players and promoters of "modern music" projects, through personalized interviews focusing on administrative, technical or artistic development, or more general questions about the modern music sector.

Last but not least, Zone 51 supports emerging artists by offering residencies in partner venues, as well as creative and broadcasting opportunities within the framework of its events, such as springboards or specific calls for applications.

"Summer Vibration" and "Rock your brain": two teas committed to supporting contemporary music

To support Zone 51's work at local level, we have composed "Summer Vibration" and "Rock your brain", two recipes that are a nod to two eponymous festivals organized in Central Alsace by the selestadian association.

Summer Vibration, for an extraordinary tasting experience:

The desire to live hard and fast, to free oneself from all taste conventions, has given birth to the most Rock'n'Roll of our teas!

As with all the teas in our "Teas with a mission" range, for every bag purchased of Summer Vibration and Rock your brain, €0.50 is donated to the Zone 51 association.
