Spring Awakening in the Himalayas
This superb first-flush black tea from the foothills of the Himalayas is a tribute to the Snowview tea garden and its biodiversity. Just like the magnificent peacocks that move gracefully through the tea plant rows, it offers a particularly vibrant, colorful, and expressive infusion.
You’ll immediately fall under the spell of its flavors—which are both herbal and pastry-like—with surprising, indulgent notes of chestnut and mandarin emerging.

Snowview Tea Garden
Terroir
Snowview is nestled in the Himalayan foothills and is part of the Kalimpong subdistrict. For hundreds of years, the nearest town, Kalimpong, served as both a hub and the main conduit for trade between China, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, and India. With a largely rugged terrain and very steep slopes, the region enjoys a high-altitude subtropical climate with mild temperatures throughout the year. The soil is loamy, and there are numerous rivers, including the Jaldhaka, which originate in the Himalayas. The monsoon season, from June to September, also brings heavy rainfall. The region’s biodiversity is characterized by natural virgin forests, dense bamboo groves, and colorful rhododendron canopies. Neora Valley National Park is located near Snowview Garden and provides a refuge for endemic species such as the red panda and the Himalayan black bear.
Community Projects
The garden is Fair Trade certified, and the farmers live in close harmony with nature. Thanks to the Fair Trade premium, solar panels have been installed, making Snowview a “carbon-neutral” tea plantation. Health initiatives and sanitation projects are also continuing to develop, placing health and safety at the forefront of community efforts.

Guaranteeing the origin of our teas is one of our top priorities. We're delighted to finally be able to display the official Darjeeling logo on our packaging, a guarantee of the geographical origin of this tea that we've cherished since our origins. Since 2011, the European Union has recognized the only existing PGI for tea. A guarantee of protection for Indian producers and consumers alike.

Because we have always chosen teas of excellence produced by long-standing partners, we have a few rarities that gourmets will appreciate. Harvested green teas from Japan, black teas from Darjeeling, spring teas from China, vintage pu'er or carefully hand-braided teas, organic teas of incomparable finesse for memorable tastings.
Early tea
Discover fresh, delicate teas bursting with spring flavors! Considered by some to be the quintessence of natural teas, primeurs are the fruit of the first Camellia sinensis leaf harvests of the year.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.
Fair trade
