Sought-after by tea lovers, this medium-oxidized wulong tea from Fujian province is a must-have. Its large, bead-rolled leaves offer a brilliant infusion characterized by exotic floral scents reminiscent of lilac and sweet flavours of honey and hazelnut.

Terroir
Known for its rugged landscapes and deep valleys with karst formations, Enshi is located in the south-western part of China's Hubei province, crossed by the Qing River and its tributaries. Indeed, Enshi boasts numerous water springs and is home to important endemic species, such as the golden monkey and the short-tailed pangolin. The small producers' cooperative is located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain. Here, atmospheric humidity is high due to the rainforests. The soil is rich in selenium, and growers often plant tea bushes between rocks, giving them better access to minerals and salt.
Context and challenges
The environmental context is uncertain, with frequent landslides and flooding, so the fair trade premium provides leverage for producers.
Community projects
The Fairtrade Premium has enabled the implementation of a road improvement and maintenance project, as well as the purchase of equipment for tea production and transport vehicles for the cooperative's two factories.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.

Because we have always chosen teas of excellence produced by long-standing partners, we have a few rarities that gourmets will appreciate. Harvested green teas from Japan, black teas from Darjeeling, spring teas from China, vintage pu'er or carefully hand-braided teas, organic teas of incomparable finesse for memorable tastings.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Tea and food pairings
This wulong, with its fresh, vegetal notes, goes particularly well with spring rolls and steamed ravioli. It can also be paired with milk chocolate, vanilla desserts or blue-veined cheese such as Bleu du Vercors.

Celui-là je ne l'ai pas encore goûté j'y reviendrai, mais j'attribue une note tout de même car je le connaisun peu, des amis chinois me l'avait vanté, avant de le déguster dans sa région d'origine un jour de nouvel an. Un thé de découverte qui évolue d'un vert printemps à la première infusion à un bel automne vers la quatrième, uniquement pour les connaisseurs.
