Shiboridashi teapot

The teapot (Shiboridashi) dedicated to the preparation of gyokuros or great senchas, is handcrafted in the town of Shigaraki in Japan by Sawa Houzan, a ceramist belonging to a line of potters established over three generations, whose work is particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.

The size of the teapot is specially studied to obtain a liquor that will reveal all the subtleties of the great Japanese green teas. The teapot also features fine grooves to retain the tea leaves and act as a filter.

A true work of art in the service of the art of tea, these unique pieces testify to the high degree of mastery of the great Japanese ceramists.

As these accessories are made from vitrified stoneware, and therefore have no memory, they are also ideal for brewing small quantities of your favorite tea or infusion at home or on the move!
