This fine porcelain gaiwan was made and hand-painted by Jingdezhen* potters for Les Jardins de Gaïa.

Its satin-finish on the outside, glossy on the inside and fine brown edging lend a touch of originality to this highly refined object.

It's the ideal accessory for preparing grand crus and other delicate teas. Its lid allows you to stir the tea leaves as they infuse, to capture and smell their most subtle fragrances, and to keep the liquor at the right temperature.

*The cradle of porcelain and a world center for ceramics since the Tang dynasty (618-907), the city of Jingdezhen in Jiangsu province is the birthplace of Chinese porcelain manufacturing techniques. Its potters are internationally renowned for the excellence of their work.
