Tips for preparing herbal tea




An ideal herbal tea for seasonal changes
Lapacho sapwood is central to the pharmacopoeia of the Kallawayas, the famous Amerindian healers. Its lightly woody, vanilla-flavored decoction is renowned for boosting the immune system, improving blood circulation and for its draining and antioxidant effects.
Preparation tip:
Place a heaped tablespoon of "Lapacho" in 1/2 to 3/4 liter of cold water. Heat over low heat and cook for 5 minutes. Infuse for 15 minutes. Strain. For a 3 to 4 week course of treatment, consume one cup for the first few days, increasing the quantity gradually to one liter per day.


Recommended daily consumption: 4 cups of 25 cl.

This infusion contains negligible quantities of fats (including saturated fats), carbohydrates (including sugars), proteins and salt.
