Tea preparation tips

A Chinese black tea renowned for its particularly gourmand aromatic palette
This excellent crop of Keemun black tea, very popular in China for its indulgent taste, offers a long-lasting, mellow and flavourful infusion. It has a subtle, slightly sweet orchid fragrance and deep flavours with typical spice and dark chocolate notes.

Fair trade
A WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) certified member, Les Jardins de Gaïa has been committed to fair trade since its creation: from the tea leaf to the cup, all our practices meet fair trade requirements. To find out more: www.wfto.com.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.

Tea and food pairings
The balanced, slightly sweet flavors of this black tea are ideal with a simple square of dark chocolate or fresh banana. A little overdosed, it can also be paired with hard cheeses such as young mimolette or grilled red meat.

What is black tea?
Black teas are teas that have undergone complete oxidation. Originating in China, then popularized in various European countries, these teas are widely consumed.
