This yellow mountain tea is made exclusively from buds covered with a beautiful, shiny down. The fruit of a delicate, slow oxidation process, they offer a supple liqueur with notes of brown sugar, straw and green pear. A tea as prestigious as it is delicious!

Terroir
This cooperative of small producers is located in Cangyuan County, in the southwestern Chinese province of Yunnan. The cooperative brings together nearly 200 families, most of whom belong to ethnic minorities with close ties to nature. Here, the tea trees range in age from several centuries to over a millennium, producing tea leaves used to make Pu'er. The oldest tea tree, Xiang Zhu Qing, is over 3,200 years old. Fengqing County is located in the Hengduan Mountains and has a subtropical climate with dry and rainy seasons. The soil is mainly alluvial, and numerous rivers, such as the Lancang, provide a reliable source of water for irrigating the land.
Context and challenges
Weather events linked to global warming, such as floods and landslides, have tested the cooperative's resilience in recent years.
Community projects
The fair trade premium helps the producer community overcome these challenges by subsidizing low-income families and financing their children's higher education. It has also enabled producers to modernize their tea production facilities.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.

Early tea
Discover fresh, delicate teas bursting with spring flavors! Considered by some to be the quintessence of natural teas, primeurs are the fruit of the first Camellia sinensis leaf harvests of the year.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
