Terroir
Dazhangshan is a cooperative organized by small producers in China's Wuyuan province. The climate is subtropical, characterized by cold winters, hot summers and abundant rainfall from spring to early summer. The landscape is picturesque, with rolling hills dotted with tea terraces. The soil is red clay, which is very common in the region. Rivers such as the Xinjiang and Qinghua provide irrigation for farmland and contribute to regional biodiversity. The local government takes great care to protect and preserve the natural environment. Indeed, Wuyuan province is characterized by its highly diverse flora and fauna and rare endemic species.
Community projects
The small producers' cooperative obtained its fair trade certification in 2001. It was the first tea cooperative in China to be certified. The fair trade premium has led to a significant improvement in the community's quality of life. Producers invest the funds in their children's education and in a tea school. The community is very active in the field of health, safety and certification, regularly running training courses to enable producers to perfect their skills.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.

Because we have always chosen teas of excellence produced by long-standing partners, we have a few rarities that gourmets will appreciate. Harvested green teas from Japan, black teas from Darjeeling, spring teas from China, vintage pu'er or carefully hand-braided teas, organic teas of incomparable finesse for memorable tastings.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Tea & Food Pairings
The flowery notes of this traditional tea will add a touch of originality to summer starters based on cucumber and fresh mint, as well as salmon papillotes, chicken aiguillettes with curry or shrimp ravioli. It's also a perfect accompaniment to sweet desserts with red fruit mousse, such as raspberry charlotte.

Bon Thé au Jasmin, bien fleuri. J'ai effectué tout d'abord 1 seule infusion de 4 minutes à 80° et ce fut super, bien fleuri, c'était suave en bouche, rien à redire. Ensuite j'ai effectué 2 infusions de 4 min, la 1ère nickel mais la 2ème présentait une légère amertume. J'ai effectué le lendemain 3 infusions (avec les mêmes perles) et la 3ème était amère. Hier, j'ai changé le temps d'infusion, je suis passé à 3 minutes par infusion et là c'est mieux, la 1ère super et une deuxième infusion bonne aussi.... Donc 3 minutes chacune à raison de 2 infusions c'est le Top. Après c'est à voir en fonction des goûts de chacun-chacune. Bonne dégustation à vous !
