Committed teas to support agriculture for the future
Discover our biodynamically grown teas and support Biodynamie Recherche, an association that promotes the education and autonomy of farmers.
From the outset, we have sought to promote our biodynamically-grown teas and herbal teas. In our view, biodynamic agriculture is the best way to preserve soil, crops, people and life as a whole. Biodynamic farming, created in response to the increasing use of chemical inputs and productivism in agriculture, gives real meaning to the work of the land and enables people to reconnect with their environment. So it's only natural that, through our range of militant teas & rooibos, since 2015 we've been supporting Biodynamie Recherche, which informs, educates and advises around this agriculture that's gaining more and more followers.
An association that promotes farmer education and autonomy
Founded in 2009, the Biodynamie Recherche association promotes respect for and protection of the environment through biodynamic agriculture. It has initiated a series of actions designed to promote the development of this farming method in conjunction with the Biodynamic Agriculture Movement (MADB). It supports a wide range of scientific research into biodynamic methods on farms, among beekeepers, winegrowers and livestock breeders, and publishes information materials as well as developing continuing education programs.
Committed to a farming model for the future
Les Jardins de Gaïa, convinced that biodynamics is the best answer to tomorrow's agriculture, have joined forces with Biodynamie Recherche to defend and promote an agriculture that respects natural rhythms, encourages soil life and gives back to nature what it gives us. This binding ambition reminds us that nourishing our Earth today is essential if it is to feed us tomorrow..
The supported project: helping bees and biodiversity
The survival of bees, guarantors of biodiversity, is currently at the heart of Biodynamie Recherche's concerns through the Bio-DynApis project. Since 2015, the year of the launch of Thés & Rooibos Militants en faveur de Recherche Biodynamie, donations have made it possible to finance the interventions of a ¼-time employee who works to develop actions linked to beekeeping (Bio-DynApis project) through:
- Leading a research and exchange network on innovative beekeeping practices that respect nature and bees.
- Supporting and training farmers to set up biodynamic apiaries on their farms.
- The creation of an information page dedicated to biodynamic beekeeping on the Biodynamic Agriculture Movement's new website (in progress).
- The re-edition of an expanded version of the book "Rencontre avec les Abeilles".
- The installation of a city beehive at the Maison de la Biodynamie in Colmar to raise awareness among staff and the public of the benefits of beekeeping
