A delight to savour
Spring-picked from the oldest tea bushes in Singell's garden, this black tea represents the nobility of its birthplace. It seduces with the contrast between its fresh flavors, reminiscent of early green vegetables, and its rounded, fruity, sweet finish.

Singell Tea Garden
Terroir
The Singell Garden, opened in 1871 by the British with the aim of bypassing the Chinese tea trade, was one of Darjeeling's first tea gardens. Deserted in the 1980s due to social and political unrest, the garden was abandoned for many years before being bought back in the late 1990s. Located near Kurseong in the Darjeeling district, this area is known as the white orchid region. Although it lies at an altitude of over a thousand meters, it enjoys a subtropical climate with pleasant temperatures all year round. The Singell Garden is located close to the Mahananda Nature Reserve, home to many protected species such as the Indian bison, the Royal Bengal tiger and the red-necked hornbill. The soil is lateritic and natural water sources come from nearby forest areas, where streams are held back by small cisterns and reservoirs.
Community projects
Water supply is a concern, as its availability is in question due to deforestation, prompting the community to implement recycling initiatives and awareness campaigns with the help of the fair trade premium.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.

Darjeeling PGI
Guaranteeing the origin of our teas is one of our top priorities. We're delighted to finally be able to display the official Darjeeling logo on our packaging, a guarantee of the geographical origin of this tea that we've cherished since our origins. Since 2011, the European Union has recognized the only existing PGI for tea. A guarantee of protection for Indian producers and consumers alike.

Early tea
Discover fresh, delicate teas bursting with spring flavors! Considered by some to be the quintessence of natural teas, primeurs are the fruit of the first Camellia sinensis leaf harvests of the year.
Plain tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.
Tea and food pairings
This noble black tea is the perfect accompaniment to pan-fried mushrooms, truffle risotto or a walnut moelleux.
