Hot apple juice with spices

Today we are dusting off a recipe for hot apple juice with spices with a twist that puts the Indian spice blend “Masala for Chai » in pride of place. The acidity of the apples and the roundness of the spices are brought together with stunning results which makes a very pleasant winter drink, at teatime or as a non-alcoholic drink at the end of a meal!

Recipe for four people

  • Put a heaped tablespoon of Masala for Chai in a liter of organic apple juice.
  • Warm on a gentle heat without allowing the mixture to boil and simmer for 15 minutes
  • Strain and sweeten if required with a touch of honey
  • Drink it while it’s hot!

What is Masala?

Created in a traditional way, masala is inspired by an Indian Ayurvedic recipe made up entirely of spices: cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, cloves and cardamom. This sensual and spiritual blend produces a drink that awakens the senses and warms the body while freeing the mind!
