Sobacha
Tips for preparing herbal tea
An original infusion to enjoy hot or cold
When buckwheat seeds are roasted, they develop very gourmet aromas that give sobacha, literally "buckwheat tea", its charm. Theine-free and gluten-free, this very popular beverage in Japan is appreciated for its smooth texture and nutty, toasty flavors. The infusion can be enjoyed hot or cold, and the seeds can be eaten after brewing.
Herbal tea composition
- Buckwheat*
Fagopyrum esculentum
*Organically grown.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.
Tea and food pairings
This original infusion is the perfect accompaniment to pan-fried beet, mushrooms, spinach, carrots or pumpkin. Or pair it with a chocolate or lightly salted caramel dessert.
