Perfumed tea
For Les Jardins de Gaïa, the addition of natural flavours is not intended to cover up the flavours of the tea or plants, but rather to give them new subtleties, to bring out their organoleptic richness. Our recipes are the fruit of daily inspiration, guided by our curiosity, our passion for our craft and our desire to help you discover new flavours. In the case of perfumed teas, we use dry ingredients such as flowers, fruit, spices and aromatic herbs.
Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.
Fair trade
A WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) certified member, Les Jardins de Gaïa has been committed to fair trade since its creation: from the tea leaf to the cup, all our practices meet fair trade requirements. To find out more: www.wfto.com.
Did you know?
Are you reluctant to drink hot tea in summer?
The nomadic people of the desert will convince you!
As unlikely as it may seem, Tuaregs drink hot green mint tea to cool down! This raises their internal body temperature, forcing them to sweat. This increase in perspiration enables them to evacuate heat.
Tea and food pairings
This mint green tea is a classic accompaniment to traditional Oriental pastries, and generally to honey, rose or orange blossom desserts, as well as dates and dried fruit. Cold, sugar-free, it goes equally well with goat's cheese, a mixed salad or a slice of melon for a summer starter.
