Tea preparation tips

A simple, gourmet Chinese green tea
This spring green tea, harvested in the mountainous province of Hubei, is representative of the age-old know-how of the land where tea originated. The lemon-yellow infusion is full-bodied and aromatic. After an attack of roasted notes, it releases milky, nutty flavors that are deliciously reminiscent of peanut butter.

Organic farming
We have always offered organically grown teas and herbal teas, and used natural, organic flavours. We go even further, demanding that our suppliers use certified organic flavor carriers and solvents. Certified since 1994.
Fair trade
A WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) certified member, Les Jardins de Gaïa has been committed to fair trade since its creation: from the tea leaf to the cup, all our practices meet fair trade requirements. To find out more: www.wfto.com.
Original tea
White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.

Tea and cheese pairings
This delicate green tea, prepared cold, can be enjoyed with fresh goat's cheese or Picodon-type cheese if prepared hot.
Pair it with grilled chicken or crisp green vegetables, and you've got an equally fine match, bringing vegetal, springtime notes to the dish.

Un thé vert délicieux, pas amer. C’est vraiment mon thé de tous les jours. La journée démarre bien avec ses arômes frais et printaniers. Je l’adore. Je le commande par 500 gr et le conserve dans des bocaux. Il est top.
