Did you know?
Bergamot is a fruit of the citrus bergamia plant, native to Italy and now common throughout the Mediterranean. Is it a lemon? An orange? Neither, but both! It's a hybrid citrus fruit resulting from a cross between the lime and the bitter orange, and its illustrious acidity and legendary bitterness are sure to delight delicate palates.
Tea and food pairings
Combined with the delicate flesh of white fish or scallops, the vegetal, floral and zesty notes of this tea add an original touch to savory dishes and sweet desserts, such as vanilla, citrus, coconut or yellow fruit.
