Malabar white pepper
A subtle spice full of elegance and finesse
The king of spices, white pepper is the fruit of a tropical vine. Picked when ripe and soaked to remove their red husks, the peppercorns are then sun-bleached to produce white pepper. The Malabar region of southern India is the historical cradle of pepper.
Our Malabar Demeter white pepper comes from this historic cradle, in the state of Kerala, and is ethically traded with small-scale producers.
Even tastier, rediscover this local product with its mild, aromatic flavor, ideal for seasoning white sauces, creams or white meats.
