A black tea to discover

This chocolate-flavored black tea from Laos, with its many beautifully hemmed golden buds, offers a gourmet taste experience. Its dense, coppery liquor envelops the entire palate, seducing it with notes of cooked fruit, wildflower honey, cinnamon and vanilla crème brûlée... A powerful black tea of great complexity and gourmet character.

Because we have always chosen teas of excellence produced by long-standing partners, we have a few rarities that gourmets will appreciate. Harvested green teas from Japan, black teas from Darjeeling, spring teas from China, vintage pu'er or carefully hand-braided teas, organic teas of incomparable finesse for memorable tastings.

Characteristic Picto Thé Nature
                                          Plain tea

White, green, black and dark teas from China, India, Japan and elsewhere are all varieties from the same plant: the tea plant. Once plucked, the leaf is processed in different ways, undergoing numerous transformations. Depending on the terroir, the fineness of the leaf and the way it is processed, the result is an unlimited palette of tastes and vintages.

Niko's advice

Niko's advice
«Often, the teas that make the biggest impression are those that evoke emotion.»

Initially bowled over by its uncomplicated, even spectacular aesthetic, I confess to having been instantly transported to Phongsaly.

Immediately effective, the scents of this tea remind me of my Laotian itinerary, the smell of sticky rice, the smiles of the locals and the black teas I had the opportunity to enjoy before I knew the full extent and richness of this curly black.

Tea and chocolate pairings

Tea & Food Pairings

The balanced, slightly sweet flavors of this black tea are ideal with a simple square of dark chocolate or fresh banana. A little overdosed, it can also be paired with hard cheeses such as young mimolette or grilled red meat.
