Les Jardins de Gaïa and Terra Madre share strong commitments to their partners and their environment. Both brands favor small-scale producers, fair trade and organic or biodynamic farming. They also support local initiatives to improve working conditions, and defend local employment and French production.
Terra Madre products, like those of Les Jardins de Gaïa, are packaged in Alsace in-house and by employees of an ESAT (Établissement et Service d'Aide par le Travail).
Many Terra Madre spices are certified biodynamic (Demeter) and fair trade (WFTO).

Terra Madre spices are processed in small batches to maintain freshness and traceability. Thanks to the quality of their raw materials, sourced from renowned terroirs, they offer a remarkable intensity of flavour. To be sure of the final result, Terra Madre supervises the entire production process.
