The Roots of Calmness: a ginseng tea that takes care of you

Ginseng-Aux-Racines-du-Calme-100g-297x1024AUX_RACINES_DU_CALMEGinseng, a native of Korea, is a plant which is said to be « good for everything ». In China, this root is called rensheng (ren meaning “man ») because after a certain age it can take an anthropomorphic appearance with a trunk, two arms and two legs. In the West its generic name comes from the Greek word panax meaning « panacea » or universal remedy.

In order for the fragile rhizome to mature and deliver all its benefits it should be grown with great care for at least six years. This makes it a particularly expensive and sought after plant.

It is commonly believed that ginseng helps with rebalancing and it is used as a treatment to give the whole body better resistance to the stresses of everyday life.

We have combined it with an excellent Korean Sencha which is very similar to the famous Japanese green teas. Naturally it provides a large dose of vitamin C and valuable minerals in a typically iodised and vegetal liquor.

A blend of reason and passion in a drink that is both tasty and regenerative!
